How often do you need a ski service?

This depends mainly on how often you ski. To ensure optimal grip, skis and snowboards must be maintained approximately every ten days. At a minimum, we recommend a service per season. Regular care protects the base from drying and the edges from rust, thus increasing the life of your winter equipment.

How much time does the ski service take?

At least 20 minutes, but it also depends on the number of visitors and may therefore require a little more. To avoid waiting time, we advise you to deliver your skis in the afternoon or in the evenings and to pick them up the next morning.

Which service to choose?

We offer standard and top service. In most cases, standard service is sufficient. The top service will be charged if the base shows coarse scratches that have to be removed. This is usually the case if you have taken a small stone that has broken the base. For small holes (less than 2 mm deep), a repair of those does not make sense because it does not hold up. In this case, the base is simply polished which corresponds to a standard service.

Is waxing alone enough?

In most cases, no. First, the waxing is a protective layer that protects the base from drying out. However, waxing does not affect the edges. If the base is peeled, waxing alone does not make sense. Skis must be grinded first.

Is the rental equipment prepared, too?

Yes, all rental equipment is grinded and waxed after each pick-up, so you can spend unforgettable days on skis. If you hire more than 8 days, you can bring your skis once during the rental period for preparation.

How is the adjustment of the attacks made?

The adjustment of the attack does not depend only on the weight, but also on the length of the boot, the height of the skier and his skiing ability. We also regulate the attacks of your private skis according to the European ISO standard. Come and visit us!
