This is sure: Kronplatz always has snow. One of the most snow-reliable non-glacier ski areas in the Alps with a season from December to April. The altitude and the powerful snowmaking facilities from TechnoAlpin and Demaclenko guarantee best slope conditions.

Station of the FIS Ski World Cup

Since 2017, the Alpine Ski World Cup has also stopped here. In mid-January, the best ski athletes in the world come to Kronplatz and celebrate a highlight of the World Cup calendar. The spectacular ski run, the Erta, demands everything from the riders. That's why only the best of the best win at the Erta.
