Gais

The history of the Hotel Burgfrieden has begun in 1956. Family Mairhofer opened a small inn in the periphery of Gais. Nowadays Kahtrin and Florian Mairhofer run the hotel in the third generation.

In the bar - faithful to the motto of the fire brigade museum - fresh beer from the hydrant. The cosy Zenz-harrow and cosy corners invite you to aperitif or snooze.

Social gathering in Florianikeller - eg in the autumn at Törggelen, or in colourful evenings for travel groups – is always a good idea. Music to your liking. Chef Franz Mairhofer also plays fast on the harmonica, occasionally accompanied by a singer.

Talking to the fireplace, a good book in your hand - this is how wonderful summer and cold winter evenings can really be enjoyed. South Tyrolean red wine, so to dream.

Absolute peace at the organic pool right on the edge of the forest, romantic underneath Schloss Neuhaus. A paradise, you will see. Just let yourself be surprised.

The Schwitzhüttl offers stubensauna, sanarium, steam bath and solarium.

No minute boredom, because we have managed the successful family-run business for 60 years now. This is only available to us: large bus parking directly at the house with laundry facilities, group support by the host personally. On request, we will prepare your daily program for the most beautiful sights of South Tyrol and organize the booking of the local guide.
